History

Created in 1992 to fulfill the outsourcing needs in IT and web services of a specific customer, EASii IC actually earns a real renown in October 2002 upon the arrival of Yannick THEPAUT. The core activity of the company then progressively shifts to providing Electronic Solutions and Microelectronic Design Services, the IT and web services are eventually discontinued in 2008. Today, EASii IC is still growing and has further expanded its offer.

Key dates:

  • October 2002: EASii is composed of 4 people only. The company starts a new service in electronics and microelectronics design. EASii IC is born.
  • February 2003: the Electronic Solutions Design Center (Hardware et Software) is created.
  • 2004: EASii IC opens its Sophia-Antipolis office.
  • 2005: EASii IC hires its 50th employee.
  • 2006: The French Research Department (Ministère de la Recherche) grants EASii IC the Research Accreditation (Agrément Recherche) for 3 years. EASii IC ranks 2nd in the « Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Rhône Alpes » contest (823% growth rate over a period of 5 years)
  • 2008: EASii IC hires its 100th employee. Turnover of 9,2 M€. In August, the AZic Holding is created and EASii IC is placed under its direction.
  • 2009: The French Research Department (Ministère de la Recherche) renews the Research Accreditation (Agrément Recherche) until end 2011.
  • 2010: Radiation Tests (ASER), Test Bench Design and ASIC Design Center are added to the offer of services.

Oct 2011 : The GIF will welcome 150 start-ups and laboratories in an exhibition space dedicated to networking with industry and technology demonstrations. More than 1,500 people from all over Europe will be taking part in GIF11...

July 2011 : X-Rel Semiconductor, a spin-off of EASii IC specialized in the design and market of High-reliability and High-temperature ICs, becomes Corporate Sponsor of HiTEN 2011, the International Conference and Exhibition on High temperature Electronics Network to be held on July 18-20 in Oxford, United Kingdom.

June 2011 : CAP'TRONIC conference: How to innovate and integrate electronic devices in systems designed for the nuclear market David Gauthier (EASii-IC) will present the effects of radiation on electronic devices.

Research’s Accreditation - Easii-ic

EASii IC has been approved under the Research Tax Credit in 2006.

The Research Department renewed this granting for three more years (2009-2011).
